Štramberk v Kotouči, práce a rekreace

Abstract

Diplomová práce Štramberk v Kotouči se zabývá návrhem využití postindustriálního prostředí kamenolomu Kotouč. Řeší možnost připojení lomu k městu a vybudování takových hodnot, které v daném místě podporují především endogenní rozvoj města, ale i exogenní měkký turismus pro město tolik důležitý. Práce je zaměřena jak na celkový návrh přístupů k trvalé udržitelnosti místa, tak na konkrétní návrh budovy lázní na dně kamenolomu. Celý návrh vychází nejen z tradičních hodnot místa, ale i z kontextuálních vstupních podmínek, které lom Kotouč po svém vytěžení bude nabízet.

This thesis which is called Štramberk in Kotouč deals with a proposal of how to use the post-industrial environment of the stone mine of Kotouč. The proposal assesses the possibility of joining the mine with the town and creating values there which would support endogenous development of the town but also exogenous soft turism, which is seen as very important for the town. The thesis focuses both on a general design of approaches to long-term sustainability of the place in question and on a more specific design of a spa facility at the bottom of the mine. The spa design builds on traditional values of the place but is also based on the contextual conditions which will be present in the mine after its reserves will have been exhausted.
