Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial performance of a selected company using advanced methods. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the financial performance of a company in the field of production and processing of non-ferrous metals using traditional approaches and selected advanced methods. The thesis includes a methodological part and a practical-applicational part. The analysis of financial performance on the company's data in 2015-2019 is performed, including bankruptcy and creditworthiness models. Furthermore, the analysis of the EVA ratio is performed, which is complemented by a pyramidal decomposition of the EVA ratio using functional and logarithmic methods. Finally, the individual influences are quantified and a sensitivity analysis is performed on the selected factors. The diploma thesis concludes with an assessment of the financial performance of the company including recommendations.
