Abstract

Augustin M.: Verification of determination of self – ignition temperature of solid fuels. Bachelor’s Thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University in Ostrava, 2018 This bachelor thesis deals with verification of determination of self – ignition temperature of solid fuels. The self – ignition temperature is measured by the method of basket test, according to the norm CSN EN 15188. The theoretical part describes self - ignition of solid fuels, further it provides an overview of the test methods for the determination of self – ignition temperature and also deals with the accuracy of the measurements solved by the measurement uncertainty. In the experimental part, basket test is characterized, the preparation of the samples before the measurement, the apparatus and the course of the test are described. In the last part, the measure of conformity of the results obtained from the experiments performed according to the norm CSN EN 15188 is examined.
