Abstract

This dissertation is focused on choice of method for determining the effective amount of safety stock in Viadrus company. It consists of 3 basic parts. The theoretical part describes the fundamentals of logistics, distribution of supplies, order systems and economic order quantity. In the second part I deal with distribution warehouse depending on production process and distribution of raw material inventories before production process entry. Based on the results, I have suggested optimal solution with its economic benefits in the third part, using the method of economic order quantities.
