Abstract
The aim of the thesis is based on the analysis of existing processes of selection and adaptation of employees in the company HIGHFIVE, s.r.o. identifying potential shortcomings and suggesting proposals to improve these processes. The thesis consists of two parts, namely theoretical-methodical and application-verification. In the first part there is a methodology and methods of elaboration of the thesis and further are defined theoretical basis of selection and adaptation of employees. The second part contains the characteristics of the company and the analysis of these processes by means of an interview with a human resources officer and a questionnaire survey. In conclusion, there are suggestions and recommendations for improving the quality of existing processes of selection and adaptation of employees in the chosen company.
