Abstract
This diploma thesis is focused on the process of creating a 3D model of a measuring corridor, observatory and connecting shaft in the building A of the VŠB-TUO and comparing the points obtained by laser scanning and the classical method of measuring with the total station. The aim of this work is to characterize the process of measurement by laser scanning, creation of a 3D model of the object and subsequent comparison with the control measurement performed by the total station.
