Abstract

The Diploma thesis deals with problems of overvoltage in industrial networks and their analysis. Object of the study was to analyze the overvoltage on a real network, which is located in Australia. In the thesis we investigate kinds of overvoltage that may ocur in the network, and propose a protection measures to against the consequences. All according the requirements for insulation coordination. Subject to the procedure was according to Standart EN 60071 and following of simulation in software ATP. We discovered fact that the proposed safeguards in the real network correspond to the requirements and procedure to standards. Insulation coordination is fulfilled.
