Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and production of a composite material mold for products made of composite materials. The theoretical part presents the possibilities of technologies for mold production. Furthermore, materials used for the production of various types of molds are described. Subsequently, the choice of technology most suitable for our application is made. The requirements and recommendations to be followed when designing the mold in the CAD program are also provided. The practical part of this work is focused on the construction of the mold in the CAD program and the production of the mold. The creation of the mold using CNC machining and the subsequent steps to create a perfect mold surface suitable for the production of a composite part from the mold are described. The work also includes the production of the first test part made directly from the designed mold. In conclusion, the work provides subsequent recommendations and an evaluation of the quality of the finished product and mold processing after testing.
