Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on performance evaluation of the manufacturing HERN, Ltd. company. Based on carried analysis, the aim of this thesis is to evaluate the performance of the company and to work out suggestions and recommendations for the company's practice. The theoretical part defines the information related to the issue. There are defined basic concepts such as company's performance, strategic and financial analysis and their individual methods and tools. The practical part is focused on the introduction of the company, strategic analysis using methods PEST and SWOT. This part also includes financial analysis through horizontal and vertical analysis, selected ratio indicators and comprehensive evaluation methods. The results of individual analyzes are included in the proposal part, followed by recommendations for the for the company's practice.
