Abstract
This thesis deals with generating a 3D magnetic field. The theoretical part describes the physical principles of the Helmholtz coil, methods for generating a magnetic field, techniques for measuring the magnetic field, and application possibilities of a 3D magnetic field. It also covers the development environment and communication protocol. The practical part focuses on the design and implementation of software for generating the desired 3D magnetic field vector with high precision and a defined rate of change. The implementation utilizes the sbRIO platform from National Instruments and the graphical programming environment LabVIEW.
