Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the creation of a 3D model of the infantry bunker MO-S 19, located in the cadastral area of Darkovičky, in the Opava district. The aim of the thesis was to develop an accurate digital model of the structure using modern geodetic methods, in particular terrestrial laser scanning and GNSS technology employing the RTK method.
The theoretical part provides the historical context of the structure, describes its construction characteristics, and highlights its significance within the system of pre-war Czechoslovak fortifications. In addition, the instruments and software tools used for processing the measured data are introduced.
The practical part is devoted to the fieldwork procedure, including the surveying of registration points and data acquisition using the Leica RTC360 laser scanner. Subsequently, the processing of the collected data in Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS and CloudCompare is described. The thesis also includes an assessment of the accuracy of the resulting model based on control measurements.
The outcome of the thesis is a 3D mesh model of the structure that accurately represents its spatial geometry and can be used for documentation and archival purposes. In addition to the original scope of the assignment, the resulting model was also compared with a reference model obtained using a UAV.
