Abstract

This diploma thesis addresses the structural design and verification of selected load-bearing elements of a monolithic reinforced concrete office building. The work focuses on determining the actions applied to the structure, performing the analysis of internal forces, and subsequently designing the individual members of the load-bearing system using concrete of strength class C30/37 reinforced with B500B steel. Emphasis is placed on compliance with applicable technical standards, in particular the Eurocode framework together with the relevant national annexes. The analysis results form the basis for the assessment of both ultimate and serviceability limit states of the structural components. In addition, the thesis develops an alternative design solution for the monolithic ceiling slab. The project is complemented by a set of drawings documenting the geometry and reinforcement of the designed structural elements.
