Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is acquaint about various modes of heating with an emphasis on the calculation of heat loss and on the modern resources in the heating. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretically, this discusses about various modes of heating and introduction of the modern methods of heating with achieving the lowest possible losses and the lowest possible cost for heating. The second part, practically, is detailed calculation of heat loss based on the energy balance of buildings and computer software for heat loss, TechCON REHAU. It is also designed two suggestions of heating for the concrete object. The first suggestion is infrared floor heating and second is underfloor water heating by electric boiler. Both suggestions are accompanied by solar energy, for the first is photovoltaic system and for the second is solar system. Afterwards is comparison these two suggestions from the economic standpoint.
