Abstract

This Thesis deals with an open HiPath CAP application interface and its options relating to use of the CTI applications. The standards of CTI applications and their subsequent use are specified in the Thesis. HiPath CAP offers in addition several predefined functions that can be initiated with a single press of the button on a device. One of them is an EasyLookup application, a functioning of which was the main task of this Diploma Thesis. This application enables a lookup from a corporate database (LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory) and the connection possibilities of the application are described and subsequently assessed in this Thesis. The task is to choose the best and fastest possibility of contact searching for the EasyLookup application.
