Abstract

The thesis deals with a specific type of waste - electronic waste. Electrical waste is currently the fastest growing type of waste. They contain valuable secondary raw materials, but also dangerous. There is described by its characteristic, the legislative situation in the EU and the Czech Republic. The work described above in the handling of electrical waste in individual EU countries. There is also graphically expressed comparison between EU countries in various indicators relating to electronic waste. The work also describes the collection and recovery of electronic waste.
