Abstract

The main purpose of the bachelor thesis is description and comparison of diagnostic methods and results obtained from the diagnosis of HV circuit breakers. I have briefly described the history of the development of the design of circuit breakers in the Czech Republic. I described the importance of technical diagnostics focusing on the HV circuit breaker. I have analyzed the actutal possibilities of diagnostic with regard to following introduction of new diagnostic methods with an emphasis on maximum safety and reliability. In this thesis I have used my experience and my results that I have gained during my work in in the HV utilities diagnostics branch.
