Analýza nezaměstnanosti v Moravskoslezském kraji

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of unemployment in the Moravian-Silesian region. The aim of the thesis is to determine the effects of unemployment on people in the Moravian-Silesian region and to suggest a possible solution. The theoretical part defines the characteristics and functioning of the labor market, concepts related to unemployment, including types of unemployment, problem groups and causes of unemployment. This section also mentions the possibilities of measuring unemployment, its costs and consequences, not only economic but also social. Furthermore, the legal regulation of unemployment policy instruments is defined here. The practical part deals with the situation in the Moravian-Silesian region. The Moravian-Silesian Region is characterized here, as well as the educational organization where the questionnaire survey was conducted. This part also focuses on the analysis of the use of active employment policy instruments in the Moravian-Silesian Region from 2015 to 2019 and the subsequent comparison in individual years. Based on a questionnaire survey, an overall assessment of unemployment in the region is made and recommendations for improving the situation are proposed.
