Abstract
This graduation thesis work is dedicated to the subject of measurement in automobile transport with the help of Bragg grid. The main aim is to design and create a sensor based on the findings described in the chapters 3,4,5 and 6. Other chapters of this work are dedicated to the draft, realization and implementation of optic sensors into traffic. Thank to them, vehicle speed is going to be evaluated.
There is a description of various kinds of optic fibres and their parameters in the first chapter. The second chapter contains a detailed description of Braggs grid and its use. Optic sensors are described in third chapter. Nowadays, there are several ways to measure the speed in automobile transport. These can be found in chapter four. Chapters five and six discuss the concepts of optic sensor use in traffic which helped significantly in the optic sensor draft.
The practical section of this work encloses an analysis of measurement of one PDMS sensor, from which a design and implementation of optic sensor for measuring of the speed of vehicles is derived.
After the design and implementation of the sensors in traffic, the results are evaluated and furthermore, a relative mistake of the measuring in SW Matlab is calculated.
