Abstract
The primary objective of this bachelor’s thesis is to develop a realistic and economically viable business plan focused on the systematic processing of coniferous waste biomass. This objective is achieved by transforming unused agricultural prunings from a family farm into premium essential oils and forest hydrosols. The core principle of the methodological and technological process is upcycling, which ecologically valorizes the primary raw material at zero acquisition cost. The transformation of the material itself takes place through a gentle steam distillation method, which effectively extracts aromatic compounds without the risk of thermal degradation. To radically minimize initial business risks, the agile Lean Startup methodology is strictly implemented in the project. A key step in the business model design is a strategic focus exclusively on wholesale B2B sales of raw materials, thereby allowing the company to legally avoid the draconian bureaucratic barriers and fees associated with European cosmetics legislation for end consumers. The final synthesis of the analyses unequivocally confirms the technological and financial viability of the proposed model. The financial plan demonstrates stable profitability with a very early break-even point, achieved with monthly sales of approximately 388 liters of hydrosol. Ultimately, the plan guarantees optimal liquidity and an exceptionally fast return on the initial investment.
