Hodnocení výstražných akustických zařízení z hlediska slyšitelnosti

Abstract

The thesis is focused on issues of audible warning devices on IRS vehicles audibility. Target of the thesis is evaluation, whether these devices are enough to satisfy early warning to drivers in conditions of current traffic. Thesis is divided into 7 parts. Part 1 and 2 deal with basic acoustic principals from the point of view of area spreading and human perception. Research of legislative related to audible warning devices is stated in part 3 and 4. Part 4 is also focused on circumstances of audibility in traffic reality. 5th and 6th part deals with designing, realization and evaluation of several scripts of an experiment to find out the audible warning devices level of audibility. In part 7 practical suggestions obtained from this experiment are presented.
