Abstract
This bachelor thesis Discrimination in the Labour Market analyses the problems of discrimination of women in the labour market. It gives some insights into theoretical relations of how the labour market works, defines the term discrimination and its forms. Discrimination in the Czech Republic is best measured by indicators such as education, employement and wages. Statistics show that women are filled in positions with the smaller prestige and with unbalances of the remuneration. This is the typical sign of the Czech labour market. That is why the antidiscriminational policy plays the significant role and its purpose is to forbid any form of discrimination by means of various regulations and precepts of law.
