Analýza domácího násilí z pohledu PČR v ústeckém regionu

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is an evaluation of the fruitfulness of the penal law novel. The purpose of adopting this novel was to exonerate conduct called home violence and to give the organs that are active in the criminal procedure and other governmental and non-governmental organizations an effective tool for a systemic treatment of home violence. The key role in this system represents The Police of the Czech Republic who, in most of the cases, is the first to get in contact with the victim and the offender and is also authorized to monitor and prevent socially unacceptable behavior. The policemen are obligated to respond to the ascertained violence, to provide protection to the victim in the first place and to prevent the offender from pursueing the violence. The thesis analyses this issue in the frame of the region of Ústí nad Labem and uncovers the deficiencies of the adopted novel in the praxis and suggests possible solutions for these.
