Abstract

The diploma thesis aims to familiarize the reader with a procedure for analyzing assessment procedure s for risks associated with the anti-explosion system in a woodworking shop that is technologically obsolete by today's standards. The thesis will be evaluating the shop's current protective measures against explosion, and I shall be proposing steps that will ensure compliance with relevant European legislation in the form in which it has been implemented in Government Decree No. 406/2004 Coll. on more detailed requirements on establishing security and ensuring health protection during work in explosion-endangered environments.
