Abstract
The Korean war,a military conflict between South and North Korea ended after three years of fighting July 27 th 1953.Subsequently, Korea started to recover from the war's destruction and collaborate with neighbouring countries particularly with China and Japan and later on also with the rest of the world. The diplomatic relations with Czechoslovakia were established in 1990. Currently South Korea is the 4 th biggest investor in Czech Republic.
Hyundai was founded in 1940's by Ju Yung Chung who as a 25 year old decided to enter the automobile repair business and opened up a small auto repair shop. The name Hyundai,meaning "modern" appeared in the company's title for the first time in 1946. Hyundai Motor Company which was established in 1967 specializes in not only the production of automobiles, but also in constructions of highways, nuclear power stations and sea ships.Thanks to its hard working employees, Hyundai Motor Company is currently one of the the world's largest automakers.
Building of the HMC factory in Czech Republic started in 2007. One year later the factory was opened and by 2011 will have 3500 employees. The formation of HMC brought to Moravian-Silesian Region new job opportunities for many people but also increased pollution problems. HMC tries to improve this situation by using a proper and suitable manufacturing technology.
