Historické a ekonomické aspekty vzniku a rozvoje ostravsko-opavské diecéze

Abstract

The thesis aims at historical and economic perspectives on foundation and development of Roman Catholic Diocese of Ostrava-Opava. The core of the research lays in the analysis of links and circumstances that formed the youngest of all Roman Catholic Dioceses in the Czech Republic and which remain indivisible parts of its further development. The foundation of the church parish and its prevailing causes of either historic or economic nature are examined in detail together with a comparison of the current and new management models of the Diocese. The research itself provides complex insight into a specific Diocese which has not been published as such.
