Abstract

The aim of this work is the reconstruction of the inclined belt conveyor in the milling plant in Darkov mine. The original driving mechanism is already rather out of date now. Any maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of individual parts are too expensive and time consuming. Many components are not being produced anymore. Therefore, to ensure smooth operation, cost economies, and availability of spare parts it is necessary to design a new driving mechanism that will meet both the mechanical and electrical parameters of the component being replaced. At the same time, the design must fully comply with applicable standards, regulations, and law applicable in the area of mechanical and electrical equipment.
