Posouzení vlivu těžby a úpravy nerostných surovin na životní prostředí

Abstract

This bachelor thesis examines the impact of mining and mineral processing operations on the environment. The theoretical part contents a detailed analysis of the mining sector in the Czech Republic, including its historical development, current status and legal framework regulating this issue in the context of national law. The analytical part evaluates a particular mining site, which is an area of Cinovec, eventually the region of Krusnohori in the Usti region. The aim of this thesis is to answer the question of the potential for further mining in Cinovec and the rate of the negative impact of mining on the environment in general and also on the particular mining site. Consecutively, in comparison with the economic benefits of mining to draw appropriate conclusion.
