Summary THE ROLE OF CZECHINVEST AGENCY IN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC Nikol Pešlová The bachelor thesis is devoted to activities of CzechInvest Agency in the Czech Republic (CR) regional development, focusing the grants of Agency and the results of its activities. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to is to define a brief description of the Czech business environment and to evaluate impact of Agency on this environment. The first chapter is devoted to the basic characteristics of Agency, its activities and definition of the Czech Republic Regional policy. The second chapter is focused on Agency's grant titles, which are divided according to the programming period for Cohesion policy. Part of this chapter are also other incentives and programs of Agency. The last chapter discussed the investment projects which are realized with the help of CzechInvest activities from several viewpoints. The bachelor thesis has lead to the submission of a comprehensive overview of CzechInvest agency and understanding of benefits for the Czech Republic Regional policy.
