Abstract

It has been far back in human history when people started to use blasting practice to help them with creating various kind of works, but now we can say, that using of explosives is the major technology. We differ a few types of cuts (a Wedge cut, a Terraced cut or the Michigan cut). From these cuts are the next actions, used technologies and materials enrolled. The main goal is to use the most convenient type of the cut and its technological procces based on the comparism of some technical data like: qstř ; Qz ; Nz ; Nc ; Qc There is a condition of working in homogeneous mid-solid sandstones and in horizontal build. The first chapter divides the technologies of blasting practice and evaluate the classical and mechanical practice. Consequently there are presented various types of cuts. In the third chapter a calculation of all the needed data for comparing and evaluation is introduced to you.
