Využitelnost zoologických zahrad v České republice

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to process and analyze the utilization of zoological gardens in the world and in the Czech Republic. The first part consists of a summary of the terminology used in tourism and its connection to issues relating to zoological gardens. It explains historical and global relations concerning this topic (the development of relation between human being and animals, the outline of cooperating institutions,…). The next part focuses on the outline of zoological gardens within the Czech Republic and Slovakia. ZOO Lešná Zlín was chosen to be covered in this work. The analysis includes the description of this zoological garden, a questionnaire and following recommendations.
