Hodnocení měnové politiky ECB od roku 1999 do současnosti

Abstract

This study Evaluation of ECB’s monetary policy since 1999 to the present is focused quite narrowly on monetary policy. Introduction includes theoretical background and history of monetary policy, while the next section explores the history, status, specific objective, tools and procedures of ECB. The conclusion assesses the ECB’s monetary policy. The graphs illustrate the main euro area macroeconomic data, especially inflation rate, GDP growth rate and interest rates. Everything is related to time since 1999 to the present. The object of this study is, whether the ECB during its lifetime was able to achieve its primary objective – the price stability.
