Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with metallurgy of manganese austenitic steel with nitrogen alloyed. Specifically, it concerns with a special stainless steel with increased content of nitrogen, chromium and manganese, which is intended for use in nuclear power components. The work is focused on documenting and evaluating the production of specific steel of this type. It describes the technological process of production from batch composition to electric arc furnace to forming and heat treatment itself. The results of this work show that even under the conditions of a smaller electro-steelworks, this type of material can be made successfully.
