Zhodnocení nabídky vybraných sociálních služeb pro osoby bez domova v Olomouckém kraji

Abstract

In this bachelor's thesis, the offer of selected social prevention services in the Olomouc region was evaluated. Selected services include shelters, low-threshold day centers and dormitories. Legislation concerning social services, their recipients and providers were introduced. Furthermore, the concepts related to homelessness and its typology were explained. The Olomouc Region was evaluated from the socio-economic point of view using selected indicators. The offer within the Olomouc Region at the level of individual districts and the comparison of the Olomouc Region with other regions were evaluated. Public expenditures on social prevention services and on specific selected services were compared in the Olomouc Region in the period 2015-2019. These expenditures were compared with other regions of the Czech Republic. The analysis showed that the worst district of the Olomouc region according to the monitored indicators is the Jeseník district. In comparison with other regions in the Czech Republic, the Olomouc Region resulted from the analysis as one of the worse regions.
