Stanislav Lichorobiec, Ph.D. The diploma thesis is focused on the physical protection of investment warehouse of ArcelorMittal Ostrava JSC. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis deals with the laws and regulations and theories of physical protection. In the introductory chapter of the practical part is described ArcelorMittal Ostrava JSC and its current status of physical protection. Following and also the main chapter of the diploma thesis is focused on investment warehouse. This chapter describes the object, his surroundings, the current status of physical protection and financial valuation of the assets of this object. Then it created a risk analysis (in terms of physical protection), through which they are identified unacceptable risks. To reduce such unacceptable risks are created three proposals security (including financial valuation) and then selecting the most appropriate.
