Aktuální stav EMS ve společnosti Ostravské vodárny a kanalizace a.s.

Abstract

In the present work are first introduced the possibility of using voluntary instruments in environmental protection, in particular the introduction of an environmental management system. Interest is then concentrated on company Ostravské vodárny a kanalizace a.s. Described is a history of the company, its field of business and individual establishments. There are also described elements of the CSN EN ISO 14001: 2005 in the company, according to which the company has set its environmental policy. In the context of demonstrating compliance with the above normative is suggested the possibility of using standard ČSN EN ISO 14031: 2013. This standard may in practice to help with the evaluation of the environmental performance of company, thus ensuring greater transparency results in this area.
