Abstract

The diploma thesis on the topic "Biowaste management in the Moravian-Silesian Region by the FCC“ deals with the issue of biodegradable waste. The theoretical part generally describes biowaste and the possibilities of its processing and management. The practical part is focused on the production of biodegradable waste in the Moravian-Silesian region and the collection of biowaste by FCC Environment with a focus on Český Těšín, which is collected in the company Depos. In this part of the work, I also performed an analysis of biowaste containers and developed a SWOT analysis to build your own composting plant, which the FCC is interested in. Lastly, I focus on sources of biodegradable waste and propose possible changes and new solutions.
