Abstract

This thesis is devoted to the actual topic of the use of wood in construction. There is a space dedicated to the historical and contemporary wooden bridges. The aim is elaboration of a proposal and a report composite wood-concrete bridge structures for road transportation. To correct structural analysis was necessary to make experimental verification coupling stiffness, the results of which were used to create numerical FEM model was used to calculate internal forces. Here we find the comparison of wood, concrete and steel-concrete structures and assessing their suitability.
