Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and partly experimental analysis of the use of fuel cells in the propulsion of road vehicles. The text is a source of information on the use of hydrogen as an alternative fuel for the automotive industry. The first part of the document describes the properties of hydrogen, its production and the possibility of using hydrogen in fuel cells and internal combustion engines. A separate chapter is devoted to the PEM article used in electric vehicles and its components are described in more detail in this article. At the end of the introductory part of the assignment, the advantages and disadvantages of concepts using hydrogen as a fuel are evaluated.
The second part describes the individual components and systems needed to ensure the long life and performance of the fuel cell and the reliable propulsion of a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle (FCEV).
The conclusion of the bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the FCEV drive. First of all, an analysis of the dynamic measurement of an electric vehicle with a fuel cell is performed, which is further compared with other types of drives. In the second measurement, the static load behaviour of the FCEV drive is analysed.
