Abstract
This diploma thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a functional prototype of a digital interactive map for the Bolatice municipality. The primary objective was to develop a modern geoinformation tool that integrates up-to-date data from the Information System of the Digital Map of Public Administration (IS DMVS) and the Digital Technical Map (IS DTM) of the Moravian-Silesian Region into a user-friendly web interface.
The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes the current legislative framework of Czech geodesy, specifically the Surveying Act and the restrictions on the distribution of technical infrastructure data effective from 2026. The practical section describes in detail the methodology of geodata acquisition and authorization, subsequent processing within the open-source QGIS environment, and export to a web-based platform using the Leaflet.js library.
The technical solution emphasizes high interactivity, including advanced layer filtering of basic spatial situations, real-time geolocation, and dynamic area calculations for sidewalks and cycling paths to support municipal maintenance planning. A significant feature of the implementation is the map export module using the html2canvas library, which addresses browser security models (specifically the tainted canvas issue) to ensure the correct saving of watermarked images. The application is fully optimized for mobile devices (responsive design) and meets modern UX/UI standards. The resulting open-source tool serves as an efficient platform for municipal asset management and provides essential information for both residents and visitors of the Bolatice municipality.
