Abstract

This master’s thesis deals with digital forensic analysis, focusing on the course of the analysis. The goal was to describe each of the phase of forensic analysis and then to practically demonstrate each of these phases. The first part deals with currently used methods, presentation of several popular tools for forensic analysis and by explaining basic concept and principles. Further on a process of investigation is introduced as well as it phases and methods which are used during mentioned phases. The last part is focused on practical showcase of the correct forensic practice so that gained results and findings can be used as a suitable evidence.
