Návrh a realizace modulu hodnocení zrakové ostrosti pro informační systém očního centra

Abstract

The goal of my diploma thesis was to design and develop an application for evaluation of visual acuity for the information system of the eye center at the FNO.

The diploma thesis includes theoretical and practical part. In the first part, the theoretical one, the thesis deals with visual acuity and examination of the central distance vision. Also different kind of optotypes are described here including their constructing. In the practical part there is detailed analysis of the application requirements in which both the structure of~the~existing information system at the eye clinic and UML models are described. The next chapter is~about implementation of the application itself. From the design of the user interface, through the creation and setup of the project in the Android Studio to the functionality of the~individual sreens and connection with the back-end.

The application was first tested using testing server where the sent and saved data were checked and the overall functionality of the application was tested. The application was also tested directly at the eye clinic at FNO with the patients who were also tested using the classic method for comparison. The results are recorded in this diploma thesis and analyzed.
