Metody těžby a zpracování bloků kamene pro ušlechtilou kamenickou výrobu

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with methods of mining and processing of stone blocks for noble stone production. In the first part I deal with the history of stone and the field of stonework, I also describe the rocks that are most often used for stone production and their properties. In the next part I describe the methods of mining stone blocks and their subsequent processing. In the last part of my bachelor's thesis I describe a selected company and propose a new method for processing stone using a water jet.
