Abstract
The aim of the diploma thesis was to find possible current development opportunities arising from the current business activities of a particular company and their evaluation. The work was divided into five chapters. The first chapter (introduction) will be devoted to acquainting the reader with the aim of the work and its structure, followed by this chapter the second (theoretical) part. This section describes the basic principles and general procedures of strategy creation, explained what opportunities are, what types of opportunities we distinguish, what techniques we can use to find and evaluate opportunities, or what modern approaches to strategy development and strategic analysis exist. The third chapter describes the current state of the company and the competitive environment. In the introduction of the application practical part of the work, a broader corporate vision was defined. Subsequently, the procedure of creating a blue ocean strategy was applied to the selected production. Other possibilities of business development were also outlined. All possible opportunities and possibilities for business development were evaluated and, together with significant factors of the internal and external environment, included in the final SWOT analysis. This was followed by the conclusion of the diploma thesis.
