The subject of this diploma thesis is the design of a primary school for the 21st century, responding to contemporary requirements for educational environments and the changing needs of modern pedagogical approaches. The school design is based on the idea of connecting the city and the landscape and works with the placement of the building at the boundary between a newly developing urban structure and the natural environment of the Ostravice River waterfront.
