Abstract

The presented proposal of opening, preparation and mining come out of research shown in the bachelor thesis - Rational mining of lignite in the area of Centrum mine from 2012. On the basis of founded quantity and quality parameters of the residual reserves in the East field of Centrum, the author offers the posibility of other mining. Since its opening in 1888, mining in this mine, has been carried out by different mining methods, but chambering on cave -in was the predominant one. At present the minig continues in the areas of previous mining of chambering on cave in two footbridges. The contemporary method of mining is wall working on cave in with releasing the over ceiling layers and the capacity is approximately 440 000 tons of coal a year. This thesis is designed as a suggestion or a detailed base that could be used for a future plan of opening, preparation and mining including the appraisal of effects of surface mining and realise the minig of insignificant quantity of fine lignite.
