Abstract

The topic of this thesis is a project of senior housing complex, including fourty-seven pages text part and construction-drawing part, in the area of a former mine called 'Petr Bezruč' at Silesian Ostrava. As the area was classified as a core zone in compliance with the new Town Planning Scheme, it is now fully suitable for the proposed building. The complex project presented here includes apartments for both seniors and staff, who will take care of the handicaped tenants, public health care rooms, small snack bar in the storey and various social rooms. The social rooms provide a place where the accomodated seniors can meet and greet not only among themselves, but also with their friends or relatives. This will help to keep the fellowships alive.
