Abstract

The thesis deals with design and assessment of pre-stressed flat slab in book store building. In the beginning the ceiling flat slab structure is designed as reinforced concrete structure using simplified direct design method according to valid codes ČSN EN. Using study of pre-stressing the advantages of post-tensioning are introduced. Pre-stressing is used to eliminate part of the load and thus significantly affect internal forces on the structure. The theses deals with the reinforcement tracing, value of pre-stressing force and with total distribution of internal forces in the ceiling slab structure.
