Abstract

KROUPA, Tomáš. Safe handling of loads when operating a crane, Ostrava 2021. Bachelor thesis. VSB – FBI Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering. The presented bachelor's thesis deals with the currently set system of safe handling of loads using cranes as dedicated lifting equipment in the company Metso Outotec Přerov. The first part of the work is devoted to the issue of safe use of lifting equipment, including the stated requirements of legislation and technical standards. The practical part of the work focused on the analysis of the current state of handling loads with a crane in individual production sections of the foundry Metso Outotec Přerov. At the end of the work, safety cards are designed and created, which provide primary information for competent persons in order to reduce the number of accidents at work in the foundry Metso Outotec Přerov, which were caused by dangerous handling of loads using a crane.
