Abstract
The thesis deals with the design and assessment of a steel hall with a covered warehouse. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to steel halls and crane tracks, the practical part deals with static calculations. Three variants were proposed, one of which was selected and subsequently assessed. The thesis contains a preliminary static calculation on a 2D calculation model, which was subsequently extended to a 3D calculation model for more accurate results and assessment of the main supporting elements of the hall. The hall is framed and designed as two single-nave halls that share a central column. It contains one crane track, which is located in the nave and continues to the covered warehouse. The main supporting elements of the crane runway were also designed. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to the design and assessment of selected joints. The annex of the diploma thesis contains the drawing part of the layout of the chosen variant together with the selected details and the production drawing of the selected part of the structure.
