Posouzení důchodového systému v Slovenské republice

Abstract

The aim of this work is the issue of pension insurance focused on the Slovak Republic. The functioning of the pension system from the past to the current three-pillar pension system is described. We point out the benefits of the first, second and third pillar. The first pillar addresses the demographic turnover, while the second and third pillars are demonstrated by investing in funds. Pensions are compared considering the salary level, the age of the savers and the investment strategy. The solution to the problem provides for the acquisition of supplementary retirement income and independence from the state. The results of practical examples can serve to make decisions about our future pension income.
